Remember this palette I bought inflight Krisshop?
Quatuor Boutons De Chanel is an eyeshadow palette designed exclusively for duty free. Composed of 4 variations of beige and brown stamped with a gold Chanel logo, this palette invites you to play with a perfect harmony of luminous and contrasting shades.
I finally used this palette few days back. The logo overspray was a very thin layer so once you swatched the palette, the overspray would be swatched off completely.
Disappointing, ain't they? You can hardly see any colour.

I don't know how this palette compared with the regular quad sold at retail counters, but this one was hugely disappointing in my experience. The powder was a tad chalky and when I was applying them on my lids, they hardly showed up. I was going to do a FOTD with them the other day but gave up because with the pigmentation, you could hardly see them in photos. The focus would end up to be on my lipstick as I had been using lots of brights lately.
Texture: A tad chalky. Very powdery.
Product: Colours are not very pigmented.
Value: At SGD$78, I will expect more pigmented colour. I'd rather gotten L'oreal Chrome Intensity at 30% of the price.
Verdict: I figured this palette will be great for everyday neutral. Or for newbies who are afraid of going too heavy handed. You have to really layer on the shadow to see any colour. I give this palette only 1 point for the presentation of the shadows. Very pretty gold logo overspray. If only the shadow applies as good as it looks.
Result: 1/5
Have you tried using it with a primer?

They look like mini cookies~ ^o^
It's too steep a price, we are mainly paying for the brand.
